Pure DExpander is a carefully designed plug-in to de-expand audio material by magnifying the spatial details and enhancing the low level information.

This results in a more compact and louder signal without giving the material a harsh and processed sound. It preserves the audio materials' organic character. In addition to the more common dynamics processing controls (ratio, attack, release, etc), Pure DExpander v3 provides control over the essential dynamics profile it uses, all in order to offer the user full control over the processing even in the most demanding situations. Two unique parameters are provided : the "Dynamics Ratio" and the "Level Independent Detection" (L.I.D). They both use the dynamic range content of the signal and not just the signal levels as standard processors do.
